Not quite; rebuked by admin and the original complainant, and one other user. A minor quibble.

What he also did that has not been done by GnySgt was to admit to the inappropriateness of his actions and publicly apologize.
Has anyone been in touch with the admin at CF, BTW, about this ? Do they even know ?

If he'd tried the stonewall and denial stunt we're seeing here, he wouldn't be a mod. It's arguable whether he'd be here at all today.
Actually, he tried havering as well as apologising about it a bit, but yes, in essence, you are right.

that would only happen if one of the Xians brought it up, i would imagine that if someone like... oh, i dont know, Sauron, Starscream, anyone like that brought it up they would have all their posts purged and be banned from the boards.

thats the way they like to work so it seems.

Actually, I don't think it's the place of the IIDB management to 'tattle' to other boards about the behavior of their users here. I would hope that GnySgt can get his act together on his own, rather than requiring someone here to ask the cf management to crack the whip on him.

Not that I expect their management would care...

The problem, I think, is that no one else has first-hand information about the IP addresses.

I actually think the management might well care; they are somewhat concerned about appearances, and might reasonably conclude that this behavior shows a character flaw which might be unsuitable in a moderator.

Havoc said he got three warnings on a single post in under half an hour - an instaban - from gunny.

BTW, it doesn't *say* banned - it says "Survivor". Your thread's still there.

I agree...members can question God but can't question the mods?

what kind of thinking is that?
