Thumbs down Whatever

Yeah, those Truth anti-tobacco ads are so much more topical and effective.

I personally have a soft spot for the anti-marijuana ads that say you'll run over a little girl and also get pregnant.

Gee-wilickers, it's almost like alcohol!

MTV knows which side it's bread is buttered on. Or maybe they're just afraid the military will backball them off of the satelite due to "causes unknown".

And how much does the Marijuana Council spend to advertise on MTV compared to Miller Beer?

Just because I'm parinoid, that doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

Follow the money.

I get channel V where I am and it is basically the same as what little exposure to MTV I have.

A whole lot of self-promotion and presenters making YOU the star. If you happen to subscribe to the musical tastes and the demographics of the channel. It is always of interest late at night when their marketing executives have decided that only people who appreciate their music will be watching. And it always makes good eye-candy.
