Default Hey...

I have NEVER been banned. I got a warning from Lana for (the only thing I could imagine it could be, anyhow) posting some funny stuff from the Principia Discordia, the non-Bible of Discordian Paganism. I PMed her and told her I thought she was wrong, that Discordians don't hold anything sacred, including our own alleged sacred text. I don't know what she replied, because honestly I was really angry and would probably have blasted anything she said to me, so I'm not even sure that's why she warned me, but I did request that she reconsider her decision. I don't know if she did, though.

C'est la vie. If Seebs happens to get enough time, between pretending to be a Christian, actually investigating serious complaints by non-Christians and other pretend Christians on CF, and living in Minnesota then maybe he can check it out. If not, no big deal...I don't think there's a conspiracy (yet) among the mods to drive me out.

New rules for the Apologetics forum at CF have just been posted.

In addition to the list of Christian Forums general rules, the following are prohibited in the General Apologetics forum, and ammended.

1) Publically questioning, mocking, undermining or disagreements with a staff member's post related to discussion moderating

2) Directing posts towards individuals, instead of the topics and issues being discussed

3) Taunting any member

4) Sarcasm or hostile posts

5) Starting threads directed at another member

6) Using immature, tounge-in-cheek or otherwise disrepectfull names for anyone

7) Quoting someone's posts from other threads.

I would have loved to have posted a farewell message, as I fear I wont last too long now, but it would have broken the new rules!

No more taunting JohnR7.... that's too much to ask.

quoting someone's post from another thread???

How are we to debate without that?

I agree SoM... I doubt I'll last much longer (again).

These are so open ended, Clinton would love these new rules.

My curiosity is.. will they be applied to the whole... not just the majority?

We shall see....

We can't direct posts toward someone else's personal comments?
gimme a break..

So much for the discussion between 'believers' and 'non-believers'.

It will be interesting to see how these rules are applied to mod/admin sockpuppets, won't it???

Default Rules, Rules, Rules

The more you tighten your grip, Tarkin, the more starsystems will slip through your fingers.
