I will wait for a faster connection; however, "local" in my vernacular means "not global."

To my knowledge no evidence of this multiple extinction-level event exists.

Yeah it was something to the point like

"If it was local, why move the animals on a boat? Why not just move them out of the immediate area? Sure would make more sense"

and

Because he did not know that there were any other people anywhere else(If there even was).

Besides the whole human race came from adam and eve and they did not have a car to travel that far anyway.
