Today I got an e-mail from an editor at the Journal of Algebra, and the article that I submitted has been sent off for publication!

Keep an eye out for it. The paper is called "Boundary Valuation Domains." It should appear in the Journal of Algebra sometime later this year (or maybe early next year).

The Journal Of Algebra is not actually one of the periodicals I read, I have to admit

My husband has had a few papers published in actuarial journals and I know it's a big deal.
