You're one of the lucky ones who got to run in the Naked Mile, Kosmo. There's been so much cracking down and nasty perverts filming it that last year was the skivvies mile and this year just sort of didn't happen. Sadness. What path did you run? South U? Diag?

I'm jealous

"2) I think hippos are the coolest mammals
3) I've written short stories about hippos
4) One character became a congresshippo "

I like them to, but in the wild they are mean and dangerous, avoid a hippo at all cost, especially if they come out of the water. I saw one bite a guys leg off on one of those wild nature type shows.

Yeah, I graduated in '96. I sorta figured that was the beginning of the end for the naked mile because it was such a big event. I remember the news helicopters flying overhead. People started coming from all over to watch and take pictures.
I ran the typical path: starting at Washtenaw down South U, cut across the Diag, across State St to the Cube.

Too bad though, such a cool tradition!

1. I like textures. Very much. When I go to the supermarket I tend to fondle bags of flour.
2. I don't like drinking too much, but I love smoking.
3. Like FreethinkinFeline, I'm terribly afraid of ghosts, but I can't resist any kind of good haunted house documentary.
4. I love Nick Drake.
5. I'm a video game freak.
6. I often forget the names for very simple items such as "razor" or "magnet". It may be early senility or I'm just stupid. But probably the latter.
7. I'm a very quiet person which tends to make some people think I'm smarter than I am.
8. I wear glasses sometimes. I'm a bit nearsighted.
9. I enjoy chasing ducks.
10. I've saved two baby birds in the past week.

btw- Dr. Retard... best name ever.

Ah, you can put any spin on the biting of a leg you want, they are harmless.

I believe they are responsible for more "accidental" deaths in Africa than any other animal, which says alot.

But my hippos are harmless, well one time Mr Rump Chumps accidentally blew up a small amish town in Ohio, but that was an accident. My envisionment of hippos are large, kinda trendy, sometimes mentally aloof mammals that really love life. Oh and one of them, Chunks, is very prone to motion sickness, so keep your distance from any yellow hippo you see.

1. I believe Karl Marx is the smartest person to come from Europe
2. I believe that W. E. B. DuBoise is the greatest thinker to come from the american continents.

3. I believe that Capitalism just like any other economic system has it's beginning and end.

4. I believe that an economic structure where the few own the majority of property and are in power CAN NEVER BE DEMOCRATIC.

5. I believe that Capitalism is a system that is maintained by the exploitation of the working class by the small percentage owning class.

6. I believe that the U.S. is and was just as oppressive and brutal as any other empire was.

7. I believe that Capitalism, Imperialsim, Nationalism are all just different manifestations of the superior-inferior belief. The belief that one group is superior than another, mentally and physically, therefore this somehow gives them the right to be in power.

8. I believe that the U.S. allowed sept 11 to happen and that the Pakistan govt was responsible for it.

9. I believe that anyone that can seriously ignore past U.S. support for oppressive regimes and believe that the U.S. cares about Iraqi citizens is just plain stupid.

10. I believe that Bob Marley is one of the best singers ever.

1. I think I used to like math. Still pretending that it is true, though...

2. I am obsessed with Japanese food, especially anything to do with raw fish. But I am near-broke now...

3. I don't get why people keep calling me cold and unsympathetic. Maybe it was the way I dress?

4. I think anthropologists are the coolest creatures in the world--they can "perform all the activities" in a given culture without agreeing with anything the culture believes in. The epitome of falsehood and detachment.

5. I ducked out from music major which my parents had chosen for me since first grade.

6. I remember laughing for 3 minutes straight at the bangwall icon the first time I visited II.

7. My mood-swings are getting more and more extreme. Maybe I should check up sometimes?

8. Caffine and bookstores are my daily requirements. Otherwise expect severe neuroses.

9. I don't think I have a life at all. It seems to be consisting of walking, going to class, II, books, and maybe dinner.

10. Still entertaining about living in some African village the rest of my life, or maybe it's France.
