It's very possible that you won't hear anything. Major rule of managing people... you don't dress down your subordinates in front of others. Military officers do it, office managers do it, anyone in authority should do it.
He may have gotten read the riot act, but it will have been in private and most likely won't be mentioned to outsiders. It may seem sneaky at first, but if the principal ripped him a new one in front of the students, it would seriously undermine the teacher's authority, as well as being publically humiliating. This is something people try to avoid. Discipline of this sort is kept 'in the family' so to speak, wherever possible. |

Anderson, I would suggest that you meet privately with the principal just to simply ask whether or not he spoke to the teacher. This way if the problem resurfaces, it could be helpful you need to bring the problem over his head and complain to the school board.
