That's actually not a bad movie. I was surprised, I thought I would hate it. Liev Schreiber is good in it as well... but then again what isn't he good in.

Is there anyone who thinks Ben Affleck can actually act?

Voted for ROTK. Although, I will be saddened that there are no more LOTR movies to look forward to after this year.

And I really can't stand "The Matrix". Overhyped. Overpraised. I felt betrayed when the film was recommended to me by friends that I had previously thought were intelligent and had some modicum of taste.

I think he can, I think that he takes few opportunities too. I don't think he can transform himself the way Russell Crowe can, but I think given a well-written role he does alright. He's better than some, not nearly as good as others. He should get better as he gets older. I wonder though being married to J.Lo will make him keep going after the big money

Premiere magazine did a thing not too long ago where they listed this for Affleck:

Wants to be: Tom Cruise

Will be: Bruce Willis

Bruce Willis is a pretty good actor as is Tom Cruise. Neither one of them are as good as Russell Crowe. But Cruise seems interested in pushing himself more or at the very least working with the top directors in the industry and taking projects that are potentially riskier. Cruise can probably get away with this because he's Tom Cruise and teenage girls buy movie tickets. But Affleck doesn't stray to far from himself in his role choices.

I voted LOTR, but the one I really want to see is Harry Potter 3.

ROTK for me.

I went to the cinema 10 times in 2002 - I saw FOTR 8 times and TTT twice. I have seen TTT five times this year and I am going again today. I will see it at least a couple of times more in February.

I will be seeing ROTK on the day it opens in Tasmania (Boxing Day) . I will do what I did this time around and buy 'screen savers' tickets in advance so I can go and see it whenever I want to.
