He's right, though, that they have their rules over there, people on christianforums have to obey those rules or go elsewhere, and that it is not iidb's place to tell them how to run their board.

I would think that he would at least notice that there's a problem, however, when a lot of his users are complaining and leaving his board to build a niche in a completely different place. If he wants to build a board that is founded on intolerance, that's his choice and we can all respect that.

I would ask the mods to take care of the people in question and leave the thread open.

I started the original topic,, Karyn continued it. Some truths need to be revealed.

FWIW, the accusation has been made that this thread is simply for those who have a problem with CF or it's rules. Those who feel this way need to read more closely and review the predecessor thread.

I've never had a problem following forum rules...here, there, on the athesit forum, on the Harry Potter forum (errr,, I just trolled it..lol), the science forum... etc..etc..

I started this thread for those who have been mistreated/warned/banned/threatoned by members & moderators of CF (or any other Christian forum.. we've had revelations of events from Rapture Ready as well). This is over those 'Christians' who ABUSE the rules and get away with it, while those who don't fit into the moral majority are held accountable to the T.

Keep that in mind for those of you who accuse me.

(now let's see if I get banned/warned)

I would have to agree with pz. It's his private board run with his money (and the money from supporters) and they can set up the rules anyway they wish. The nature of the boards are different and as Erwin says, they cater to different people. The rules that guide the boards are different and reflect the orientations of the governing bodies. IIDB is, at its ideal, a place for the free expression of ideas and arguments about those ideas. What might be considered "slanderous" on other boards is not necessarily considered so here. So be it.

But what I have read from this thread and the other CF outcast thread is that there are people, both christian and nonchristian, who obviously feel that their complaints are not being heard and feel that they have no way to remedy the situation at CF. The opaqueness of the moderating process combined with the practice of completely deleting every post a banned person has ever made has left many feeling alienated. I would hope that these points are being discussed at high levels at CF.

Just an FYI for you, gnysgt:

Refusing to refer to your alter-ego in the correct manner (note that he says tupac instead of 2PAC, which is how he registered himself) isn't pulling the wool over anyone's eyes.

I am surprised at your ungrateful behaviour. At any time, any of the moderators or adminstrators could have posted the two IP addresses, side-by-side, giving anyone and everyone who has even one iota's knowledge of IP tracing access to information about yourself - where you live, for example. And yet you're biting the hand holding the dossier. Interesting.
