I was one of the "1000 people a second" that put my phone number in the national 'do not call' list. It's about damn time!
I don't mind an occasional call by an actual 'salesperson' where they don't read off a script and sound like they are just coming down off of X. Anyone else sign up for that today??? |

I don't quite get that "do not call" list - I mean has anyone here ever met someone who actually wants telemarketers to call?
Why not just make a "do call" list, and let those 73 people nationwide call in instead of making 280 million (?) people call? And why the hell is telemarketing legal in the first place? But anyway, congrats to GWB on his first policy that isn't purely a steaming heap of crap. |
