I have said this in other threads, but here it goes again . . .
Numbers 23:19 KJV God is not like men, who lie; He is not a human who changes his mind. Whatever he promises, he does; He speaks and it is done. Exodus 32:14 KJV So the Lord changed his mind and did not bring on his people the disaster he threatened. One needs to be truely "logiacally challenged" to think there're no contradictions in the bible. For the bible to be the abolute truth, each and every passages must be truth. One contradiction voids the possiblity of the bible being the abolute truth. If you agree that some passages in the bible are wrong (or just misinterpreted, the common theist excuse), then you agree that the alleged omniscient and omnipotent god had failed to deliver his words to his followers (without misinterpretations). One must also understand that one piece of information being correct in any given book does not prove the rest of the book being correct. Each piece of information must be examined independently. For example: In this sentence I state that 1 + 1 = 2 and 1 + 2 = 99. 1 + 1 = 2 does not prove 1 + 2 = 99. One needs to prove each passages are true in the bible independently before using them as the truth. __________________ Theism is for the "logically challenged" |

I see that even with the split and severe warnings, this thread has no chance of becoming civilised. I am locking it now.
