THE NEUROSIS OF CONDITIONAL LOVE
By New 10., The three primary religions orthodox Christianity, which includes all fundamentalist sects (cults): Moslem and Judaism have a pathological hatred towards atheists and secular humanists. It is evident this hatred is because atheists and secular humanists are self sufficient that seems to drive Christians crazy. My dictionary describes self-sufficient as 1. able to maintain oneself or itself without outside aid: capable of providing for ones own needs; 2. having an extreme confidence in ones ability or worth. So what does this say about people who are fawning themselves to an incorporeal big daddy who hides in the sky? Atheists are hated for the sin of pride. Within orthodox sects, there is a pathological obsession with the followers own projection of some outside parental figure called father in heaven, says and does, and they can read his mind, so they cam manipulate what this father in heaven says and does and they can read his mind, so they know what he demands of them. "Anthropology is the is the secret of theology. God is man worshiping himself. The trinity is the human family deified"(Ludwig Feuerbach) I like some psychotherapists view religion as psychopathology, Freud was one of the first. He called religion a universal illusion. This great outpouring of love toward such a projected father figure is an insurance policy in people's minds that this love will be reciprocated and will get them a ticket into heaven. According to orthodox dogma, God's love is conditional. God hateth those who don't believe. Any parent who loves their child conditionally shows psychopathology in ego development. |

Interestingly the first two mentioned are indeed the top contenders but the third mentioned, Judaism, from which the other two derived from is down the list quite a bit;

Faith or the absence of faith is a personal choice. |
