Woohoo! You're going to absofuckinglutely adore it.

I wouldn't have traded it for anything when I was in the dorms. More closet space, more counter space, all the room space...and as much privacy as you could ever want (provided you make sure the room is locked. )

Go you! One of the happiest days of my life was when I moved into my first single back in '99. Ahhhhhh, the memories.

Finally, I didn't have to pick up after messy roommates. No more having to trip over a guitar and amp on my way to the bathroom. Not once would I ever again find an old egg-stained ROTC uniform at the bottom of the closet. And I got to choose what to watch on TV!!!!

Oooh! I never had a cafe on the grounds so I'm jealous. I loved the sinks in the rooms though. It's wonderful being able to brush your teeth and wash your face in the morning when you're in a rush to get to class and not have to worry about fighting for room.

Sure you could have. You could have gotten a double with me as your roommate.

Hehe, congratulations! I moved into my single room apartment last year. I stayed in a two-person dorm my first year in school with community bathrooms and community kitchens. I was so happy to live in my own space with my own kitchen and my own bathroom. You'll love it so much!!
