Default How I feel about evolution and 'nature'

I don't look into other people's views so I wouldn't know how much my ideas resemble others. I feel that the process of the developement of living things flows similar to norm life cycles, but on a much larger scale. I feel that nature acts somewhat like a mother, caring for living things and assisting them as they grow and develope. This growth and developement would be evolution. As most living things, there comes a time when you depart from your mother and fend for yourself, not much more growing. I see humans as just out of the evolutionary process. The human race obviously shows it doesn't depend on nature to continue its life as a species. Although some try not to, humans don't growth and develope off of what nature provides but uses what knowledge nature has given to keep its species from fading away. Keep in mind this view is based on general observation and not detailed study so don't bite my head off too bad if you can argue it. I just wanted to see what reactions my ideas have on the more open-minded individuals. Thank you.
