I was shocked when I found out. Going to miss the guy. I want to wish everyone saddened by the news lots of strength.

One last <img src="graemlins/notworthy.gif" border="0" alt="[Not Worthy]" /> to Mad Mordigan.

I only knew MM from his posts, but always enjoyed his comments. From what I read, he was a very funny, caring, honest man. I'll miss him.

Hugs to everyone who was close to him; hang in there!

Rest in peace, Mad.

Wow. MM was the one person whose posts I specifically looked for.

This goes to show--your presence on this earth affects way more people than you think.

I hope he is at peace.

Just slack-jawed. I'm absolutely stunned.

If I had to pick one individual who I thought would be most likely to take this unfortunate route based on the posts I've seen from them over the past couple of years, MM would be down on the bottom of the list. Irreverent is an understatement, MM just seemed to be able to brush things off so easily and get everyone to chuckle - even if it was a guilty pleasure ("Show us your tits!"). He just seemed to have a healthy outlook on the absurdity that can be modern life.

How I wish he would have posted his feelings in the support forum before it came to this.

Shit, shit, shit.

My favorite quote from MadM:

FOR FUCKS SAKE

That has stuck with me for over a year and I still chuckle to myself when it comes to mind.
It's fitting for almost any given circumstance.

Thanks for the laughs Steven.

Madmordigan had a fantastic personality...I only wish I had known him better.

I'm just so shocked and affected by his death. A suicide is not like any other death, I think it shakes everyone's equillibrium...it's a terrible thing to imagine someone could be in such despair that death would be preferable to living.

He was a wonderful cynic, with wit and warmth in spades.
As they say, "scratch a cynic and you will find a dissillusioned idealist".

Goodbye M&M...

(Title forgotten)
by Edna St. Vincent Millay

Time does not bring relief, you all have lied
Who told me time would ease me of my pain!
I miss him in the weeping of the rain;
I want him at the shrieking of the tide;
The old snows melt from every mountain side,
And last year's leaves are smoke in every lane;
But last year's bitter loving must remain
Heaped upon my heart, and my old thoughts abide.
There are a hundred places where I fear
To go- so with his memory they brim.
And entering with relief some quiet place
Where never fell his boots or shone his face,
I say "There is no memory of him here!"
And so stand stricken, so remembering him.
