I had heard, and enjoyed, the bear joke, but instead of an atheist, it was a preacher out hunting when his gun jams.
It makes a lot more sense for a preacher than for an atheist to want God to make the bear a Christian. It also makes the conclusion funnier because why would the atheist be surprised that a Christian is about to kill him? Ah, but a preacher, who was himself about to kill the bear....well, it's just a lot funnier. |
