I'm not new to the IIDB, I have over three thousand posts, nearly two years under my belt, and am a moderator. However, I never posted an introduction thread, which I now realise was such an appalling breach of ettiquette that it must be rectified immediately. There will be no pithy witticism giving praise to the boards, as seems to be the tradition, because by now I'm well aware that you're all just a bunch of guys, you know?

So howdy. "I just know I'm going to love getting to know you all and will enjoy the intellectual cameraderie" and so forth. I've been an atheist since before I was born, but I also live in a country where that doesn't make me a minority. I never get evangelised at, and no-one thinks i'm weird for being a communist cat eating god hater, because everyone else is doing it. I study biology, post from work, and I collect various bottles of alcohol as a hobby. Everyone who disagrees with me is wrong.

Anyway, I went more than a few posts before my introduction, and a mod tactfully chewed my ass by agreeing that I took my time doing so.
