Every Monday the Dallas Morning News publishes letters from High School students. Today's selections included one one the topic at hand. Nice to read a letter in the local rag that didn't just say something like "evolution's only a theory," and from a highschooler too!

For those of you who don't what to register with the Dallas paper:

I think that the reason a person gives not to complete a recommendation does not matter. If the teacher does not want to write one for any reason, then I would not want him to write me one in the first place. I feel that Texas Tech or its professors have done nothing wrong. This is just a person or small group of people who are upset and trying to get their way.

Well duh! Everyone knows where Canada is. Its north. Just like the episode of Law and Order, when they picked up the terrorist coming over from Ontario in Vermont.
Ah, only if Rick Mercer could have been there. But seriously, whats the deal with Newfoundland? I mean granted, on 9/11 virtually half of Europe landed there, but other than that, how much does New Foundland account for? I mean other than mining? (pondering great Newfie politicians...)

None of that in America of course. Healthcare for all.
Hey hey hey. Everyone in America will be allowed to get the small pox vaccine. That's universal health care... right?

'Scuse me, but the Joggins fossils come from NOVA SCOTIA, which is two words, and is where I come from. In fact, I have some Joggins (plant) fossils sitting on my dresser (and in various bins around) as we speak.

Americans...!
