Well now there's your problem dude! It's the Heidegger man! Those imported beers just don't go with Nietzsche. Try a Bud or a Lite or switch to Rousseau.

I have thought that "truth is beauty". Am I wrong again? Well, order can only be "created" not "perceived" by the mind--thus aesthetics being the most important branch of philosophy in my opinion. I don't give a damn about objectivity...the most important has been whether I am pleased with my explanation.
It's fun to go nuts once in a while isn't it? No wonder I seemed to prefer literature written by schizophrenics like, um, Holderlin and Rimbaud, or otherwise mad personalities. |

Thank you Eudaimonist. I can only hope you are correct, which is all I think any of us can do at this point.

A revival.-(of the anoying rambling thread)
-What's the relation between art and philosophy. What is art, pure entertainment? Is Wagner any better than Britney Spears? Why? Is morality and metaphysics(in the Heidegger sense) really escapable. Is natural science and psychologial optimism the new religions. The new systems of explanatory metaphysical optimism(Heidegger again yes). How can the movement of irrationality to rationality be justifed? Is justification(being a moral concept for you convinience) really appropriate in such discussion? Is it true that that americans actually are not able to compose an original thought by them selves or is simply a statement efficiently build to provoke? Is it just an emperical fact or a fundamental ontological truth like math and logic? If Nietzsche reject the fundament for morality how far would he go without being an also rejected nihilist? Yet more rambling coming another day! ohh and comments are welcome please ----- |
