How is it that there are so many happy, joyous, and fufilled nuns in the world? These women have given up freedom, possessions, children, and marraige, and yet, they are joyful. Many have no desire to be preists and are satisfied with their role in the Church.

Does this speak to any athiests in support of the existence of God? If not, to what do you attribute their happiness?

On a side-note, I've been away for a awhile -- it's good to be back!

Hi Gemma, I would say that nuns are happy and if they are not happy they are unhappy in their own human choices because if they were called to be nuns they were called to share in the eternal happiness that only God can provide because it has no sadness or pain as opposite in itself.

All our human pleasures are extrapolations of Gods eternal bliss and because they are extractions they will all have opposites of their own . . . wherefore pleasure cannot be conceived to exist without pain, or joy without sadness, or love without hate, or friend without foe, except when we find a friend in the source of all happiness itself which therefore is an infinite end in itself.

Bless you girl and I trust all is well with you.

Isn't it obvious by now that Gemma Therese is channeling the Lord Her God, and is, if not a major prophetess, possibly the New Messiah?
Is this not a wild claim?

She wouldn't be telling us this stuff it God hadn't told her it was true, and we are no doubt putting our immoral souls at peril by not taking her every word as the Gospel it obviously is.
Who is your source for this sort of trashy information?

I seem to gather when the right path is choosen the experiences seem to be reinforced by GOD's will, but if there are deviations from the good path, then GOD's will does not reinforce those experiences.

This leaves me to ponder those who have choosen the right path, are willing to trod it, but face actions from those on the wrong side of the track. Their success is diminished, but did GOD's will help them alone or was it embedded in the whole of the bad experience?

Does this mean the proposed GOD has a disdainful will and a helpful will?

Is this not a wild claim?

How so? She certainly speaks with certainty about what the Master of the Universe (TM) thinks, so that seems a reasonable explanation for her ability to know the thoughts of the Ineffable Essence of Existance.

Who is your source for this sort of trashy information?

Gemma's posts over the last year.

Go back and read them all and you may find yourself coming to the same conclusions.

cheers,
Michael

This is a bit far back now, but I thought it prudent to note for everyones sake that there is no formal rule against an ordinary everyday good old-fashioned swear.

No. You just run from it, as you have from every substantive post on this thread that doesn't support your fantasy notion of the happy nun.
