Dear OOlon, oh , i see what you mean... But, until Everything Ends, or until the organism in question becomes extinct == ultimate non-fitness, "we" don't have grounds to evaluate "beneficial" or "deleterious". I see that I'm not clarifying very well. Guess I just have a dislike to label in-human-value terms; perhaps if we could stick w/ "survival" vs "extinction", I'd feel more comfortable... Sorry: this's surely term-inal nitpicking. Cheers. Abe

I met one of those. Sgt Grimes, USMC Drill Instructor in days gone by. That sorry soandso would walk around the chamber, no mask, no reaction other than watery eyes calling us all wimps in various vulgar terminology.
