I'm curious as to which government would the internet infidels members prefer "alien beings" to have first contact with and why.

I think it would be an interesting way to gauge peoples views on the worlds many governments.

I guess I should add, that the aliens are not the issue, its peoples perceptions of governments.

Canada. I would want them to see an example of a civilized people before they saw anything else.

the OP hasn't specified what kind of aliens these are.

Will they happpily eat humans, for example ?

All depends on the answer.

One would think that if they could cross instellar space that they wouldn't have a need to "eat" us. Most of those movies where they invaded for a new food source, or our women for breeding were from a time which knew nothing of genetic engineering and other such technologies.

Unless they were malevolent I would want them to visit the U.N. first, see everybody at once.
