I can't access the board through my dsl account but I can get there with my lan account. I asked if my ip was banned. I also started a new thread to redguard333

I think I have been rated a level 5 poster and received 14 blessings so far. Is that good?

I see unworthyone likes to post over there. It took him 2 days to realize that not only were we not buying his bull, but that we could summerily refut it.

I guess he perfers to post in a place where he's not considered a completely miseducated and misguided troll. Apparently, his god let him down in his quest to witness Genesis to us infidels.

So my threadd to rg333 was closed. one mod says I can continue the discussion after I explicitly asked him if I could first. He says yes and I compose a resonse. Then the admin comes in and says you can't continue locked threads.

Well, I started a thread with his name on it and I don't think I broke any rules but I did say the place seem concentration campish and said hopefully you guys can get on the same page. I wonder how they will be taken....

Beautiful! My thread gets deleted and I get this wonderful email!

Joe Nobody,

What part of rule #7 is unclear to you? You have already been made aware of the rules by another staff member. Take a close look at the rules once more, and in particular, rule #7. The next time you either publically disagree with a staff
member, or start a thread addressing an individual, you will be banned.

Thank you,

John,
Christian Forums Administrator
That is soooo sad....

Rules are rules, bud.

You're going to have to eat it on that one.

I remember a very prudent and useful thread entitled something like "Seven Steps to Successful Flaming" from Straight Dope. In it, the cardinal rule is to never, ever flame the mods.

Christianforums musta read that thread.

Of course, that is why I just love flaming mods, but you can't play the game and say you are being persecuted at the same time.

You prolly got shut down because essentially you just cut and pasted the dialogue that you were having with the other party into a new thread. Hard to not see that as a 'continuation' of the potential flame.

It's pretty common-sensical.

I thought the same thing!

At least s/he is not into persecution complexes:

originally posted by LambsloveYour ascribing bad motives to the reporters where none might even exist because you want to believe that it is persecution. It's called rationalization. People rationalize to avoid having their consciences hurt.

If you admit that the charges are justified, you might have to admit that not all Christians are gracious and lovely people who never do wrong to others. In other words, rationalization helps one deny reality.

Are you implying I was playing a game with the intention of flaming the mods?

Actually, I specifically asked the mod if I could continue the discussion. I made it known that I wanted to address the points in rg333's last posts. I said I would like to comment on questions rg333 asked me and things he stated about me in the closed thread. Louis okayed it and said just to keep it civil. Of course, I go there now and all evidence of this is gone as my thread to Loius Booth is gone. Why that was deleted I'll never know. I can guess because it had a name in the title but titling a thread with a mods name and asking him questions about board practice and where I violated a specific rule without ever disagreeing publically with him in there is equivalent to titling a thread "Mods, I have a question."

Yes, its commonsensical we are dealing with closeminded people when dealing with the people in charge over there. The people of the witch hunts, the people of the crusades, the people of the inquisition. Of course I am inferring that off of a few experiences with the thought police in charge over there and it applies only to them but I'll stop entertaining the notion if I should ever see evidence to the contrary.

I will simply avoid any discussion with any of them . I will ignore all that they say and go on with my business as usual as the admin is starting to get under my skin and I foresee my responses to them rapidly deteriorating in quality and effectiveness. If I find myself banned and I am given proper reason why I will willingly refrain from posting.

Joe Nobody;

I'm going to see if they have a double standard or not over there at christianforums. 'unworthyone' just posted a reply that no 'evolutionist' would get away with. He told somebody 'don't be retarded'. By the standards they seem to have on that board, that IS flaming.

Time will tell...

I was saying that I am the one that goes in with the intention of flaming the mods. But--rules are rules--they don't want the questions/discussions with moderators to be on-board, and it's their board, so if you don't follow the rules, you can't complain when they hold you accountable for it.

Just a little prejudiced, eh?

Why don't you start with the opposite notion until you see evidence to the contrary?
