I'm trying to find some old Threads here and everytime I get that the search function is disabled...whats with this? I really need to find some old material here and i can't go on looking into every old page of the forums to find it.

We are currently working on a solution to this problem.

Please hang tight untill then. The reason you cannot search during certain times is because the server load is too large.

Right now, if you are wanting to do a search, you are part of the problem and not the solution.

Cultivating a Zen-like acceptance of the situation (what is the sound of a search that isn't being performed?) until the new server comes on-line will enhance your peace of mind.

Well, if you are looking for really old stuff (i.e., before the conversion to vBulletin), you can always search the old UBB archives instead. Other than that, we need to keep the search turned off whenever the server load goes to 2.0 or higher. Otherwise, the board will become totally un-useable.
