I'm uber pissed! I LOVE watching the tour on OLN (in part because of the hilarious brit commentators), but I moved to DC and it isn't part of any cable package. Ughh.

However, I'd prefer him to win "properly". I always thought one team time trial was stupid, but two is outrageous. I'd like to see a individual time trial up a mountain, not a stupid 70 km flat team trial. |

Since Armstrong really seems to be struggling this year, i wonder if any of you think Ullrich, Vinokourov or one of the others giving him a hard time will break him this time around?

Ullrich can win, I even think he very well might. Not so sure about Vinokorouv, though it would be great to see him wearing the yellow jersey in Paris, just for Kivilev, you know. I really like the guy, he's real, not some machine on a bike.

Ullrich is going to kick american butt (and everyone elses) on the final time trial if he survives the mountains. If Armstrong can't drop him up Luz Ardiden he will lose big on the time trial since Ullrich is quite a bit heavier than he is. Mondays stage will be huge. The hardest mountain stage after 3 really hard days and before the rest day - it will be all out insanity. I predict huge time gaps and quite a few guys not making the time limit. I admire Armstrong as a cyclist but I don't particularly like him personality-wise, so that's why (and because he is a fellow countryman of mine) I'll definitely root for Ullrich. Go Jan, go! |

Hats off to the Lance, but heads off to those Basque bastards who let Ullrich drag them all the way up the mountain just to outsprint him for the time bonus.
I still think Jan can do it. And anyway, if Lance has less than 43" lead at the end Jan is the real winner to me. |
