They organize protests around porn shops. So in this context, it's probably whatever is sold in there.

Why the HELL is it the chicks are hot, but the guys look like their faces have been dragged along the interstate for 40 miles?
I'm sure that part of it is because the most important criteria for a male porn star is the ability to keep it up for long periods of time. Looks come much, much later.

Would erotic novels not count in the definition of porn? If they don't, then I'm officially porn-free, as free as the wind blows, as free as the grass grows, etc. But if they do, then I'm porn-again.

I think that all the "I know it when I see it HURF*" BS is just a polite way of getting around the obvious fact about how porn is defined:

If it is designed to assist you in giving yourself an orgasm (e.g., JERKING OFF), then it is porn.

Simple.

*Unsure if anyone submitted this as a "definition" on this thread.

I don't. But then, my definition's not the only one that counts.

In my experience, most people use the following definition:

"If I like looking at it, it's erotica. If someone else like looking at it but I don't like it, it's porn."

LOL - I remember that thread now. Believe it or not, that didn't get me kicked off the Baptist Board; but as of last night I'm officially banned from there for my support of the "homosexual agenda."

Joshua

P.S. If any of you have a copy of the "Agenda" - could you forward it to me? I've been working for GLBT issues for years now, and I still haven't seen the agenda. I'm afraid I'm missing meetings.
