I don't intend on buying any of her books, even out of morbid curiousity, because I don't want to make her any richer than she already is. For that reason, I try to pay attention to her when she's on various media channels (i.e. when it's free to pay attention to her.)

Although I am mostly politcally liberal, I have seen right-wingers make good points. Tucker & what's his name from Crossfire can make good, solid points. Bill O'Reilly can. Hell, once in awhile I even concede the Bush's administration has made some convincing arguments (though it's been awhile.) But Ann Coulter, I have never seen her make a convincing argument. Never seen her even really have a point. She cannot answer any question that is thown at her. I mean, to the point that when anyone will ask a provocative question of her, she'll literally just laugh and say "that's my response," or say something like "that question doesn't even deserve a response." Yes, it does, BITCH!!!

Yes, she's strong and forceful. But she says nothing at all.

And yet again, I don't know how anyone finds her attractive. Gee, she's blonde. Whoopdee. She's also got more paint and spackle on her face than my living room wall.

Or, to advance a liberal agenda (easily conflated with the Communist agenda, natch), is to be against America. Against pollution? You're trying to undermine America's industrial might. And so on. (To imagine one example.)

Maybe not before Coulter's book. But I distinctly heard Rush pick up the pro-McCarthy line earlier this month. Thought it was funny that he was trying to keep up with Coulter.

Here's a link to an interview that was in Time magazine last week. She sounds like an idiot in the interview. I also think she looks scary in the accompanying photo.

I'm curious about her private life (since Republicans seems to care so much about others'). Does anyone know anything about it? Websites seem to just list her educational/career accomplishments, but I didn't look extensively.

Actually, Savage has defended both Joe McCarthy and J. Edgar Hoover as being great men on his program before. Weiner(aka Savage) and Ann Coulter should get hitched because they're a match made in the fiery pitts of hell!

She's like Limbaugh and Hannity - they've carved a niche (and a living) by appealing to the conservatives in America. I don't even think they believe their own comments; it's just a way to pander to their purchasing audience.

I think it's interesting, however, that there isn't really any progressive/liberal analog to this behavior. Apparently, conservatives are more gullible about history and politics.

Repugs and Fascists can listen to those Republican Talk shows bag and rag on any liberal for hours... over and over the same thing... which stands to reason most of them are one dimensional...
Whereas Liberals need a variety of news and information to keep their interests... Why don't we have a Liberal Slam the Coulters' radiothon/show because it's just not in our interest or in our best interest... we have the high road conspicuous by it's absense.
Coulter is simply a derelict... and she'll get caught in bed with some corporate exec like Ken Lay ... She is truely ugly inside and out ... a living example of "SaltPeter" !
