Default Are Cristians the counterpart of Atheists?

Would a Christian being a member here, be likened (or a counterpart) to an Atheist being a member of a Christian Forum?

Hi Badfish...I suppose you could equate the two as being the minority. However, atheists only have disbelief in common and may have hugely varying opinions on every other topic discussed here. Because we don't have a dogma or sacred writings etc, you will not see quite the "us" and "them" that are found on Christian forums.

Nah, we don't ban you for being a Christian - in fact we encourage Christians to come and post here.

Also - we won't edit your posts to make them "agree" with the moderator's beliefs. That was my experience at the baptist board - edit, lie, then outright BAN if you dared to disagree with the admins/mods.

Right, thanks LadyShea.

However as you know even some Christians are at huge odds with one another, essentially making Christians "us" and "them" against one another at the Christian boards.

So there's Us, them, atheists, gnostics, pagans, all kinds of stuff.

Hi scigirl It's me GTX, you remember dontcha? I changed my name because I use this name at all the other boards (maybe a mistake). In fact I responded to a thread you started in the creation forum just a little while ago.

I am glad to see that you pop in from time to time.

Oh yeah, I got banned at one of the baptist boards, and at the Satanist board, I told them I was "theist" only and I was banned on the spot!

You and the rest of the staff do a great job here. I am taken back at the diplomacy and good nature that the staff shows, my hats off to you guys and gals.

Thanks scigirl. I think I will have to explain my username and why my nickname has become Badfish.

Yeah, I wasn't allowed into Lucifers den or whatever it was called, now they were dicks.

I was banned from the Baptist board after only one post questioning something stupid, buttholes....

What a simpleton I am, I spelled Christians wrong in the Thread title, teach me to double check my spelling. :banghead:

Well, as much as the Xians might bicker among themselves, they'd all join together against us non-believers when we start making too much sense.

Gunnaheave, good point, but that was painful to try to get through. Ya think ya might try just a little bit harder to be understood?
