"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."
Interesting that the stick, not the carrot, is the motivator for Christians. As if there are no other motivations for wisdom possible. How about love of life? Love of personal excellence? Love of wisdom? literally: philosophy Love of the natural universe? expressed as science |

"God answers all prayers. Sometimes the answer is, 'No'."
Of course a good Christian will only ask for things that are likely anyway, to improve His odds. "Do not put God to the test." He might fail! |

"I asked Jesus how much he loved me, and he said, 'This much', and he stretched out his arms and died."
A moment of silence for Jesus, please! <img src="graemlins/boohoo.gif" border="0" alt="[Boo Hoo]" /> |
