scigirl - IIRC, I read an article that came out a year or two after the movie of Jurassic Park was released. Apparently before the movie there was actually only something like one (maybe two) complete T-Rex skeletons. A few more were discovered after the movie (I gather it sparked an interest in amateur palaeontology). That was a while back though, I dunno exactly how many there are, but complete T-Rex skeletons are pretty scarce. There's plenty of fragments though, I think.

1. Back then people were able to live up to 900 years because of the atmosphere and lack of disease.
2. Back then it was perfetly OK to marry your sister!!!!...and its only NOT OK now because we have "degraded" in our DNA since God's original creation causing bad traits to emerge. This is used to explain Cain's wife. :banghead: |

I personally think the wildest claim creationists have ever made is that the bible is the pure and unadulterated truth, and is the verbatim word of god.

The taking of biblical text as litteral has always astounded me. As has the idea that all of science is a vast conspiracy

One creationist I knew once claimed that scientists are keeping silent about the Loch Ness monster because the Nessie would "disprove theory of evolution."
