I've been hanging around here for quite a while now. Sometimes I sit and read. More often than not I end up scratching my noggin. Sometimes someone gets a good slating, which I really enjoy.

now and again I might post, and at times such as this I create a few topics (which usually sink). Now, I know this isn't exactly a place to make good friends, although some of you are quite pally, to the point of worship, I might respectfully & daringly add.

I like being me, sometimes. I put what comes to mind on the table, and see what happens. I don't expect everyone to like me. I've never been a 'popular guy', nor am I fishing for respect or love. I know I am lovable, like everyone else. I am not asking 'hey everyone, how great do you think I am?', even though that does occur to me, when I laugh at my own jokes, scorn the philosophy of kids, and re-read my own posts. 'Generally head up my own arse- self congratulating, narcissistic preacher'.

sad isn't it? here is my problem, if you're reading please help- the subject isn't a joke one.

occassionaly I think perhaps I've offended someone or said something that makes me lose respect, so that anything anyone sees, that I have injected, isn't even worth the effort? aww, poor me!

but if no-one comes along and gives me a good kicking then I'm generally going to carry on being an obnoxious brat, running riot and making a mess. I do have some notion of humility and I respect that other people have greater maturity than I, so it would be nice if I could get that guidance, so that I don't tread on YOUR toes.

If you can relate to this, please respond. It would be nice to know that were all 'pigs in the same pen' and not 'a pecking order of gods'.

so, with all due respect, this is American Gladiators. I am 'all meat & no veg man' get out your pugiling sticks and give me a good walloping!

I'm not good with names so right now the only think your name is associated with by me is your multiple posts re: the Dixie Chicks and how Texas will eat them for lunch. I didn't really care much for what you said but it wasn't be any means attack-worthy.

If it's any consolation, I'll have you know that I'd love to attack you. In fact, I had to learn yogic breathing to keep from beating you senseless when you jumped my ass in the Great Pictures thread. I courteously abstained because it was MF&P and because I had told integral domain I wasn't going to play anymore. Please forgive my superego. It's always making me behave decently when my id begs to be let off the leash for a some mauling good times.

Now I see you were aching for a taste of my verbal whip, begging for Nanny livius to administer the stern discipline you desperately need to get your bearings in polite company. So here I am with my riding crop and ball-gag in tow, only to find you in SL&S which is not exactly the proper forum for smackdowns. Damn that superego of mine!

I'll tell you what. Why don't you ask for this thread to get moved to Elsewhere, and I'll be there, ready, willing and able to grind you into mulch under my thigh-high spike heel boots. Deal?

I'm pleasantly surprised at livius' reaction, and I was looking forward to her verbal whip, in the great pictures thread. Unfortunately some spoilsport closed it down.

In case you're still wondering, the moral(e)? It's good to get your ass kicked.

A good blade has been forged in the furnace. At the other extreme, if you treat it too much and adorn it with ornaments, the blade loses it's edge. Then people look at it in awe, but the fool knows better: a sheep in wolfs clothing.

so, remember, if someone is great, don't butter them up too much, or you'll spoil the blade. I've learned my lesson.
