And once again, Bush equated freedom of religion with religious people only - saying freedom of religion is good because religious people are good. Um, as I understand it, that's not really the point of freedom of religion.

This guy bugs (scares?) me more every time he opens his mouth.

I hope China keeps laws that ban foreign religious groups from evangelizing in their country. I have a feeling that the Xian missionaries just can't wait to put on their jackboots and march into China.

Well, to be fair, China's laws also ban Chinese missionaries unless they agree to behave by governmental rules. The Chinese see the unregulated Christian church as a possible subversive force (which may have some truth to it.)
