perhaps, but then theres the disagreeing with mods rule. they ahve some fucked up rules over there.
They clarified it, so it's now "don't argue about specific staff decisions". It's at least better.

OK, fair enough.

Maybe someone who cares about the reputation of christianforums should mention it over there. That lets me off the hook, at least.

If they want confirmation of the ip addresses, the cf admins can always send e-mail to the iidb admins.

gunnysgt = staff
2PAC = his decision

ie. do not argue <altough even questioning warrants a warning so it seems> with gunnysgts decision to lie, be deceitful and post against the II rules on purpose.

Possibly, yes. However, if someone regularly comes in through the same IP address, then it's pretty suspicious; his knowledge of the account is also suspicious.

On second thought, I am not going back to CF. Its only a matter of time before I get punted (If I have not been already) and I complain about it more than I should. Life's too short to deal with idiots. If I want to deal with idiots I may as well stay here. At least you guys are familiar idiots.

Kidding about you being idiots...

Hey, this thread is hilarious!

I'm completely at a loss as to what runny Gunny thought he might achieve with such a sick and stupid deception. He wasn't even clever enough to not incriminate himself. Heh. That's funny - I'm sure he thought he was being very clever at the time. Bwahahahahaha.

LOL! And then some back-sliding, some angry defiance that he has nothing to apologise for, and now silence as he bunny hops off with his tail not looking quite so fluffy and white anymore.

Ahhh, the integrity and honesty of a CF moderator and an American Marine. My, my, my - WWJD?

Yes, this thread is indeed hilarious! LOL!

Hey. I'm just as much an idiot as any stranger, fundementalist, lunatic, psychopath, etc.

Watch me disprove things!

E = mc^2

c = 3/5E
m = 13/5E

E = (13/5)(3/5)(3/5)E^3
E = 117/125 E^3

125/117 = E^2
1.034 = E

E is not constant
Therefor E=mc^2 is false

Uh oh, cats outta the bag.

I think Gunny is failing to take into account that Christians are people too, and as he knows all humanity is fallen, and if someone feels condensended upon then that person is going to seek comfort and fellowship elsewhere.

I am a Fundie, Christ loving Christian, and I may not agree with all the gossiping going on, but I can see why people do it. Obviously I did it, I felt bad and went back on my fundie trip.

You can't bring judgements against fellow humans, I know from experience when I am ignored and looked upon by fellow christians as not walking the walk, then there is something about the rebellious nature of man to seek friendship and fellowship with those that will respond!

If a fellow Christian is down do you kick them?

God knows the hearts of men, nobody else!

seebs,

I also have seen a warning that it is not to be mentioned that they were the same, and that posters should not refer to them as the same person. Posters should refer to Outspoken as Outspoken, and not as "louis"--as Sauron was doing, I believe.

It came in handy when outspoken referred to me as "Girl". I reported it with the message that if it was disrespectful to refer to outspoken other than his user name, it was equally disrespecful to refer to me as something other than my user name. His post was edited by a mod.

I think that the use of sockpuppets by moderators is ridiculous. People in power, as a general rule, should operate transparently in order to be accountable for their actions and ensure fair treatment. I think this is true of governing bodies period, whether it's legislators or internet moderators.
