Heaven is for sinners, like me, not holy people. I'm surprised you don't appreciate that. We irreverent unholy people certainly do. Rad |

If you don't see that deciding who you want in Heaven with you is judgmental, if you don't see that you are exactly the type of person you have been denouncing in your posts about people being judged as they judge others, then there's nothing I can do to make it any clearer. I'm done with this thread. crc |

I don't claim to be free of self-righteousness. I do claim to be aware of it and that Jesus' sacrifice covers that and my other faults. And I certainly do not claim to be any more holy than yourself. In fact I only claim Christ has imputed righteousness to me where there was none. I'm sure any self-righteousness I have will be burned off in purgatory, "as through fire." I know you're done speaking to the lowly Rad, (again) but you might want to explain how a person who claims no righteousness of his own is somehow like the Pharisees Jesus condemned. Your fans may get confused. Rad |

The skeptics have run out of rational arguments, and turned to personal attacks and mind reading.
(Yawn) Well I admit, this is the first time I've ever heard that hypocritical, self righteous people are still good people. I'll keep that in mind when I hear the next skeptic calling Christians self-righteous and hypocritical. Personally I agree with some skeptics they are the cause of most all wars and evil, but I'll tell them wiploc disagrees. Rad |

Examples?
Oh duh. You just did it. Then there's accusing me of trying to get wiploc off stride (mind reading), accusing me personally of being judgemental and self-righteous, asserting what "type" of person I am. We call that, in the industry, a "personal attack" I believe. You call this a complex on my part. I call it Christians putting up with this $*&^% for so long, everybody forgot it was happening. I'll be happy to discuss the issues or thread topic again, anytime you're ready. Rad |
