Starboy, If you are asking what I think is natural, then: everthing. It is my personal belief that nothing supernatural exists. However, if omnipotent god started walking around displaying his infinite power, saying "Fine, here is your empirical evidence you pedantic humans", I would consider that both non-natural and empirically verifiable.

If you define anything that can be theroetically empirically confirmed as 'natural', then in theory, god would be natural (because, again in theory, he could be empirically confirmed) and therefore permissable in science.

Hello Starboy,

I'm not sure how to respond to your previous post, since you didn't really address my question.

So, I'll ask another in reply to this one:

Are your thoughts natural? How do you know?

Firmly believe?!

It seems that many of these believe in the same manner of marginal Christians. When asked the really tough questions, in order to justify their belief, there is nothing substantial in reply.

Pardon.

But do you agree? Surely you take the sensible position that god is possible, in the same way that Invisible Pink Unicorn is possible. Surely you would also agree that if he did exist, he would be considered non-natural? (at least the common conception of him would be). Finally, do you agree that If he showed up and started miracling all over the place, he could be empirically confirmed?

Vanderzyden, what else would they be? How about yours? May I call you John?

Sorry, there is a lot of cross - posting here.

My previous post was addressed to starboy.

This is addressed to vander: YES. UFO believers are extremely strong in their faith, easily approaching the level of fanatical christians and muslims in many cases.

Prove it with evidence! a few supernatural miracles would do nicely.

I am also interested in how vander would confirm or deny this without appealing to empiricism. (no sarcasm indended )
