Has anyone read the list in this weeks' Entertainment Weekly of the top 50 cult classics of all time?
It's so horrible. Rocky Horror is #2. Show Girls is on the list. Any others stand out for you? |

How did they establish the order? Popularity? Surely the more popular it is, the less cult it is.

I liked Shawshank Redemption and all but I wouldn't classify it as a cult film. Pink Flamingos, Rocky Horror, Evil Dead 2...they would qualify. But Shawshank?

The omission of Army of Darkness, which should righfully have occupied the slots one through six, tells me all I nee to know about this list's worth!

One Australian cult movie, can't remember the damn name now, in the same vein as day of the zombies only it was hilarious.
There was a priest in it who had tried to help a young lad kill 3 of his former friends who had turned into zombies, he got bitten and ended up one himself. The lad ended up taking all 4 of them plus one female back to his house to look after them. The priest and the female were at it like rabbits and inevitably had a sprog who was surprise surprise also a zombie. It just went on and was the funniest thing I've ever seen. My son has a load of cult horrors like that, his friend's dad is really into them and gave us unwanted ones. Billy the kid is one that springs to mind, quite funny too. |

What?
Night of the Living Dead is not on the list? And what about King of Hearts? |

What about such classics as "Chopper Chicks in Zombie Town" or "Hell Comes to Frog Town." or "C.H.U.D."?
I think whomever made that list doesn't have a clue what a cult classic really is. |
