Oh, wouldn't that be great, and I wish with all my heart it would be possible without bloodshed, yet history shows that cannot be achieved. Kurds do not live in isolation, and an idependent state would bring on a genocide for all other tribes/nationalities in the new nation. Just look at all the other places where it has been tried (Chechnia for one. After Russians left after the first Chechnyan war they basicly gave the state independence, yet after the troops pulled out a genocide of Russians began there with thousands of murders)
