Whatever man, if you insist on not clarifying your statement I will not bother to try to engage in a mind-reading exercise to determine what you meant.

Gurdur, can the evasiveness and just answer the questions:

Do you or do you not believe that men should be forced into military service?

Do you or do you not believe that the life of a woman is worth more than the life of a man?

Et tu, Brutus ?

I'm quite serious; I'm not going to answer strawmen, and attempting to provoke me won't help.

It's not a strawman. A strawman is built up intentionally. At most, this is a misinterpretation of your words on my part. A polite thing to do in a civilized forum (I am aware we are in PD!) would be to clarify your position.

Thank you.

I am highly skeptical about this report that Jessica Lynch fought it out with Iraqis. There is something that stinks of political correctnesss and the women in combat crowd.

Who exactly were the witnesses to her valiant fire fight? I want names and faces. I want a breathing alive person to say they witnessed this event.

If she was fighting in this manner and killed a few Iraqis, I sincerely doubt she would be alive today. No one takes casualties from a die-hard opponent and doesn't dispatch them as soon as they can.

Even if she is proven to have been a she-Rambo, this does not instantly bring in the girls to the trenches. There are many others factors and criteria to consider.

I do not believe this story is true at all.

Well there is this new development (see few posts above) that she apparenly didn't have any gunshot of knife wounds. At least that's what her dad is saying.

If that is true, then where did the original reports originate? How can you mistake anything for a gunshot wound?

Weird.

When it comes out that this story is bull about her fighting to the last round, I hope someone is held accountable.

This girl went through a horror that we can only imagine and she survived. That is amazing in itself.

She does not need some moron newspaper or some special interest group making her into a character out of a movie. Shame on the sleazy media and shame on any feminist groups for taking advantage of her.

Leave the girl alone for crying out loud!!!!!!!!
