RRH,

Are you suggesting that poor people might share some common characteristics? Like being frugal with money? Heresy!

xian, your entire test is basically asking;

1. Do you agree with the church on this matter?

2. Do you agree with the church on this matter?

3. Do you agree with the church on this matter?

4. Do you agree with the church on this matter?

etc.

Of course the test will determine who is an atheist. The entire test is just composed of different questions that boil down to "do you agree with the church?" ex. 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 17, 18.

my theory is that I can identify atheists with a greater degree of success than the % of atheists in the population.

and i succeed.

no, my test is not asking

1. Do you agree with the church on this matter?

2. Do you agree with the church on this matter?

3. Do you agree with the church on this matter?

4. Do you agree with the church on this matter?

it is instead asking:
1. evolution of life from non-life is a likely or certainly a fact of history
2. science and religion are inherently incompatible
3. I am familiar with and rapidly recognize the acronym "IPU"
4. I lack belief in an absolute moral law and absolute right and wrong.
5. I am inclined to think that advanced alien life exists somewhere in our universe beyond earth.
6. uncaused events regularly effect themselves
7. the 6 senses (if you count the vomeronasal organ- 5 if you do not) is all that is needed to know truth.

8. I think landoverbaptist.com is a funny website.
a. TRUE
b. FALSE
c. I am not familiar enough with that website to answer

9. I agree with a womans right to choose to abort her foetus.
A. TRUE
B. FALSE

10. It is inappropriate and/or unscientific to call a foetus a "human being"
A. TRUE
B. FALSE

11. Organized religion is responsible for the majority of human atrocities throughout history
A. I agree
B. I disagree
C. Other

12. When I die, I fully expect my consciousness and awareness to cease existing, so that the only existence I have after my death is merely the natural particles that once made up my
physical body- returned to the natural universe
A. True
B. False

13. The idea that the universe began to exist uncaused from an inflationary quantum fluctuation is reasonable and/or possible.
A. TRUE
B. FALSE

(see post above for the rest)

FROM THESE QUESTIONS, I CAN RECOGNIZE POOR PEOPLE. NOTICE THAT I NEVER ASKED, "ARE YOU POOR?"

INCREDIBLE, ISN'T IT?
no, it is rather obvious.
thus, we can conclude that someone who is poor has MORE IN COMMON with other poor people than simply "lack of money"

in the same manner, atheists, in general have MORE IN COMMON with other atheists than simply "lack of belief in god(s)"

pretty obvious. and I am glad you have the HONESTY to admit it and the INTELLIGENCE to understand it.

Duck!
based upon your answers to 1,3,4,5,12, and 15, I would have ruled you ATHEIST.

Name 1 (one) thing that ALL Atheists have in common, but is not a general trait shared by humans (eg. skin, lungs, living, etc.).

Until then, the statement stands true.

huh? Name one thing ALL Christians have in common other than some vague belief in something with the name "Jesus?"

Did I ever say I could predict atheists with ONE HUNDRED PERCENT CERTAINTY?

Like...DUH! :banghead:

obviously there is no UNANIMOUS thing atheists have in common other than lack of belief in God- it is only one thing ALL of them have in common. (just like in Christianity there is only ONE thing ALL Christians have in common and before you answer "theism" I kid you not- I knew a guy once who believed in Jesus, but not God)

What I proclaim is that there are things IN GENERAL common to MANY atheists- just like things in general common to any other group, though not exclusively so.

*good grief people*

REQUIREMENT: The participant does not KNOW the PURPOSE or GOAL of this test. The first 8 quesitons are asked totally blind.

FOR EACH OF THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS 1-7, ANSWER "AGREE" OR "DISAGREE"

----------------------------------
once the first 13 questions are answered, the tester will then gather the answers and serve this portion of the exam:

14. THIS TEST IS WRITTEN BY A CHRISTIAN ATTEMPTING TO PSYCHOLOGICALLY ANALYZE ATHEISTS. IT IS IMPORTANT YOU KNOW THIS. IN THE SPACE BELOW WRITE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS TEST BUT DO NOT ADMIT WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE AN ATHEIST:
I think this test is quite simple. you ask key questions and deduce the answer. You also could look in the profiles mr. supernatural man.
( ---blank space---- )

FOR EACH OF THE FOLLOWING, ANSWER "AGREE" OR "DISAGREE"

15. The Judeo-Christian God, as described in the King James Bible, could logically be called a tyrant, a maniac, and/or a murderer. agree
16. Faith and rational thought are inherently incompatible. agree
17. Atheists cannot be classified beyond simply "lack of belief in god(s)" disagree
18. Xians are, for the most part, irrational individuals (if you do not know what a XIAN is, please answer "UNKNOWN - XIAN"). agree
19. Humans are, ultimately, nothing more than a bag of mostly water- a proteinous, carbon-based mass of stimulated chemicals reacting to each other, having no objective value beyond what the individual or the society places on such masses. The bipedal anthropodic masses of organic matter called "homosapiens" have no special purpose beyond that which each bag of chemicals assigns to themselves of that which a societal group of chemical bags assign to them. disagree

(extra space to comment on #19)

20. Please write your honest thoughts about these statements in the paragraph below- do not admit in any way that you may be an ATHEIST/AGNOSTIC AND/OR NATURALIST.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
