Just watched it. I am gonna love this show. The psychics were laughable. They sucked so bad, I cannot believe anyone would believe this shit. Hurting or not, it was terrible. As Teller said when someone dies all you have are memories of them. These quacks piss all over your memories and leave you with a forced fake encounter. Truley BULLSHIT.

A quote from Penn told to a young magicians group.

But, I threw in that I believe that if you believe in anything supernatural, any kind of god, that you were flying the planes on 9-11. I had a few jokes thrown in, but the tone was heavy. It was very heavy.
Yeah, heavy.

I'm so glad I noticed this thread. I heard back in December that this show was coming, but I completely forgot about it last week. I caught the rerun last night and it was great. I plan on showing it to family members since there are several folks on my mother's side of the family who fall for this talk to the dead bullshit.

I can't wait to see the new episode tonight.

Just finished watching the one on alternative medicine, and I must say I have mixed reactions. I was watching it with my mother, and she got trully offended when they cussed out the chiropractitioner for cracking baby bones. One of my mother's best friend's is a chropractioner herself, who got her PhD on the subject of healing heart problems by masages/chyropractic. It did bring up some good discusion though. She also pointed out that when they were demonstrating the gullability of people toward magnet therapy the folks picked did not look, well, very intelligent. I mean, common, what kind of an idiot would wear a hat with magnets sticking out of it? It would have been better if they got longer then a 30 minute time slot to discuss rather serious topics.
