The United States media is so conservative it make me want to puke. The fact that people could actually believe there is some secret "liberal media" shows how stupid americans have become.

LIberal media?! ha, even the democrats aren't liberal anymore. Most of them are moderate republicans.

You just made me think of Rush Limbaugh's ASS! YYYYYAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!
Excuse me while I flush my head in the toilet, and pull the flush handle!

One of Limbaugh's truly brilliant quotes (and I'm being more than a little sarcastic in saying that...)

"The only way to reduce the number of nuclear weapons is to use them." Rush Limbaugh.

What a putz!

here's a snopes article:
snopes

and I remember FAIR having an article about him recently... how he claimed the NYT did not run an aricle by one of their own reporters about the strong Rebulican chances in 11/02, and how he searched the NYT from cover to cover... when the article was on the front page...

You mean this one?

I knew Rush was going deaf, but I didn't know he was going blind as well.

For the condensed version of why rush is wrong:

RUSH LIMBAUGH IS A BIG FAT IDIOT, by Al Franken

STUPID WHITE MEN, by Michael Moore

BLINDED BY THE RIGHT, by David Brock (person hired to generate lies for Rep administrations which the media ate up, like Anita Hill being "a little bit nutty, a little bit slutty". Chilling destruction of people, worse than the McCarthy era.

I can't listen to the idiot.
You want real debate, watch Paul Begala and James Carville mop the floor with the guests on CROSSFIRE.

Last night Franken, Cuomo, and two other guys were on Donahue. I think Franken is one of the lefts greatest weapons. He's got the quick fire ability of Hovind, the intelligence of Hawking, and the right politics of me.

The show was about the "liberal" media. One of the righters on the show mentioned why can't we get a liberal version of Limbaugh. Cuomo, did real well, replying that we don't want Limbaugh, "you can have him." He stated that Limbaugh lied, wouldn't debate, continually misrepresents facts, etc... Liberals listen to NPR. They don't go for the fire. He summed it up really well.

Biggest problem with Limbaugh is the 30 to 40 minutes of commercials and news updates each hour during his "show". Medved, whenever they let on a good caller, always relys on the commercial breaks for backup. Any other conservative guy is just a blowhard. I tried to listen for a while, but now I just listen to NPR, with other smart stuff.

Geesh! That show is almost as bad as Limbaugh. While Carville and Begala always win hands down, it is more of a fireworks display than a debate. No one rarely ever bothers with facts and reality. Each side gets in catch phrases. Hell, it feels like two wrestlers wasting time in the middle of the ring yakking at each other, never doing anything really important.

Red face

I have just about given up on NPR.

I listen to the local Pacifica station, which has Beeb News and some Public Radio International.
