OK I had seen on a website a few months ago that there was a new Iraq constitution as of 1991. I had argued some points here based on the premise there was no constitution in Iraq that gave any civil rights/protections to Iraqi's like in other countries.
I did my own research on the issue and when I read the text of the 1990-91 constitution I went and stood corrected in my post, having found that out. While browsing through news sites today I find out, according to one, that constitution was never passed. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,85133,00.html Quote:

I had heard about that to, but i don't think the Constitution was ever passed.

Passed by who? I thought it was supposed to be a dictatorship!
The constitution was up on the Iraq website and there was no mention of it not being historical there. Amen-Moses |
