CD, WJ- I repeat something the judge said, and that I have seen on these boards, about this furor.

Let's start varying the wording of the pledge, so that some days it's "under Goddess" or "under gods" or "under the Great Spirit" or "under Allah" or "under Satan" or.....

Think about that.

Then consider just how *we* feel, when we are- not required, but certainly socially pressured- to recite the pledge. I was once, many years ago, a schoolteacher- and when I recited the pledge I left out 'under God'. The upshot of that- I lost the job. Don't tell me that it is possible to just remain silent!

And- this has no place in this forum. Off to C-S S (where the mods and other members will, I hope, continue to point out your idiocy.)
