Ouch. I bet that was real. I've seen lab writeups like that before, courtesy of yours truly. I've had several physics labs that went nowhere, no thanks to cracks in the mass spectrometer, greasy filters, shitty vacuum pump, etc. I got yelled at by the asshole of a lab instructor several times for not noticing these things. And also for dropping an X-Ray shield on my thumb. Screw that shit, I'm now doing CS just like Flynn. Have yet to see enough money to swim in tho.
Wasn't Heisenberg also a spectacular failure in lab? |

That really made my day. And is one of the reasons I majored in Math. And I wound up working in CS as well. The money sure was a lot better a year ago, though. But my soon-to-be-ex wife spent it faster than I could make it. |
