What should I have said???
Today at about 4:15 PM I got a phone call that was a telemarketer. I knew this due to the pause after I said Hello. The person on the other end asked for the "Republican" of the house, I just hung up on him because I was sleeping at the time and I didn't have the alertness to think of somthing whity. What should I have said to him?

The long pause always gives 'em away.
I always wait for someone to answer and then immediately hang up. That way the "autodialer" doesn't keep dialing your number every day. I guess I could ask them to put me on their do not call list, but some days I just don't feel like talking to telemarketers for any reason. |
