It might seem a bit weird and counterintuitive, but it’s the truth.
Is it the truth? It is certainly possibility, but I was unaware that there enough evidence for such a view to justify labelling it "truth."

I can do that (intelligent conversation) but when you explain to me WHY you think that I was pointing to a, quote, "ridiculous story".? What makes it "ridiculous"? can you prove to me with intelligent arguments what is "ridiculous" about it? (Anyone else is also invited to do this to help you.) Please be specific and quote any of the "ridiculous story" whenever you wish.

You can even start a new topic to " use intelligent argumentation to collectively kill any credibility of the "ridiculous" story ".

What would YOU say if I told you that NOTHING in that "ridiculous story" has ever been proven wrong? (If you can PROVE anything in that "ridiculous story" as being "not true" - and many have tried - hey, you can win some money - just ask the author.)

And, how would you feel if you wrote a book yourself that "you did this and that but only I knew I did it" and then everyone said that you are full of shit? This is exactly what the author of the "ridiculous story" experiences. I mean, I can write a book that says "Last year I managed to swim the entire pacific ocean and while doing so, I saw an American ship crew talking to litte green men" - and ofcourse no one would believe me, even if I KNOW (since I was there) that it happened. No matter how ridiculous, often only the person who experiences something KNOWS it is true - and others find it too easy to label him or her a 'crackpot'. But you cannot disprove "crackpot" accounts of experiences - you weren't there, you didn't see anything - so how can you label their experiences as "ridiculous" - on WHAT BASIS DO YOU SAY THIS?

Anyway, even if you don't want to take up my challenge (above), we can still start (or continue) a conversation on anything else on philosophy - but your unwillingness to take up the above challenge will simply exemplify your argumentative defeat - inability to counter-argue something that you yourself have labeled as "ridiculous".

Well guys, please don't mind if I cut in. Anyway, there is a famous argument (made by some scientist)that if the universe is infinite, then our night sky will be as bright as the day because it will be full of stars and starlight(and since in an infinite universe, time is infinite so, starlight should have already reach us).
And since this isn't the case, so, the conclusion will be that we are living in a finite universe.

Testimony of a shirt wearer:
Quote:
When I wear the Shirt, I feel the energy flowing, the sensation is both on the physical level (like warm and cold shower at the same time), and also on the higher, conscious level. I feel like a child, happy in the moment, and I am like a magnet to the children, who cannot let me go, feeling incredibly close. They feel the energy, maybe cannot express it in words, but their behaviour speaks by itself. Yesterday I felt beginning of a cold (coughing and fatigue), so I put the Shirt on, and the symptoms disappeared almost immediately. I try to wear the Shirt at night (that is when my daughter is not wearing it), and in the morning I feel reenergized, coping much better with my daily tasks. After I come back from work (which is rather energy draining) this is the first thing I do - I put on the Shirt, and then I can regain quite high level of well being pretty quickly to enjoy family life! The Shirt is unbelievable! Katherine M. CT, USA, 20 Feb. 1997
Thiaoouba, this is the shirt and website you have always tried to promote here.

I never tried to promote that website or those shirts (please prove where "I" promoted this website - because as far as I recall, it was the ADMINISTRATORS who inserted the link and 'started having fun' with their ignorant dismissals of 'a cult' that does not exist - I presume this was due to their inability to explore the information to be able to make sound judgements.

And in any case, what of the above personal account of someone who has worn one of those shirts makes that website a "cult manual" as you stated in some previous post?

Or are you (and many others who share your 'mind set') too ignorant to give any meaningful responses? <img src="graemlins/banghead.gif" border="0" alt="[Bang Head]" />

Defending the shirt so soon?
I knew about it because you used to have the link in your profile.
