so many people argue that the masses need the moral framework of religion. yet, atheists make up a disproportionately small percentage in prison populations. and on a personal basis, the atheist i know are all ethical people who seem to have no problem with describing certain things as right and wrong. morality is subjective anyway. morality is rules that make life as social creatures possible. in no way is it necessary to function. and think one day we will get farther away form christiantiy and other theistic religions. it is my hope that one day society will be based on objectivism. but i think that it will take generations. because of the supremacy of faith over reason in religious systems
