Oh, I hadn't thought of that. 'Cause yeah, if they're not sinning, then they certainly can't be concentrating on driving. I think you may have something there.

Well, she's not perfect. But she's forgiven.
So she can do it again tomorrow. |

Just for a little levity:
I do not understand why people embrace such a masochistic religion like Christianity. Paganism, if a religion must be embraced is just sooooooo much better. The Charge of the Goddess.... I call upon your soul to arise and come unto Me. For I am the soul of nature that gives life to the universe. From Me all things proceed and unto Me they must return. Let My worship be in the heart that rejoices, for behold -- all acts of love and pleasure are My rituals. Let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honor and humility, mirth and reverence within you. And you who seek to know Me, know that your seeking and yearning will avail you not, unless you know the Mystery: for if that which you seek, you find not within yourself, you will never find it without. For behold, I have been with you from the beginning, and I am that which is attained at the end of desire. http://www.branwenscauldron.com/shadows_charge.html Now that is something we should all embrace Brighid |

He was actually punished for not participating in the Levirate, a custom where if a man had had no sons when he died, his brother(s), if any, try to make that man's widow pregnant. And if she has a son, he is then counted as the dead man's son. In effect, surrogate fatherhood. Sex for pleasure may be implied in the Song of Solomon, possibly some traditional wedding song that made it into the canon. However, the New Testament is much more ascetic, treating marital sex as a way of satisfying troublesome cravings, and stating that 144,000 virgin men will be the first to make it into the New Jerusalem. And the Bible does NOT forbid women wearing pants. It forbids cross-dressing, but without describing what clothing is appropriate for each sex. However, Exodus 20:28 warns against stepping on an altar, because one would expose oneself to it if one did. And the High Priest is to wear special undies in the Holy of Holies, for that same reason. So the men of the Bible did not often wear pants. |

Pant's was symbolic of women not acting and pretending to be men and visa versa. (Transvestites, homosexual activity, i.e. ) And everyone knows that God in his infinite wisdom made pro creation (sex) pleasureable, if it wasn't why would anyone want to do it? You can't just mix up the scriptures and confuse the issue and people, stay steady. There is no need to try to confuse me, because it can't be done... j/k But seriously the people , even in this thread have seen what you wrote and are jumping to the wrong conclusions, you know which laws we were released from and which we weren't with the new covenant. |
