Well personally, I don't actually believe in "the one". There are just too many serial monogamists in the world to make the notion of one love to rule them all seem realistic to me.

As for the lustful charades, if we're going to actually discuss them I'd like to know what exactly you mean. When you say charade, are you referring to role playing games between the primary couple? Or do you mean any kind of sexual dynamic, online flirtation in this case, with somebody other than the primary partner?

Oh it's allowed just fine, as I'm sure you know. I just think gog sounds funnier.

I guess I'm just messin' around, maybe wondering out loud, if online flirting ever realizes fruition.

Or is it just fun to play?

You can do it! Try typing "God".

I'll bet that you feel compelled to not refer to God as God. Do you think God finds that funny?

No, that's not a sermon. LOL

Lots of couples meet online, so obviously online flirting does come to fruition on occasion. As a fraction of the sum total of online fllirting however, the fruition numbers must be infinitesimally small. I'm hoping Smilin and gunnaheave make it, but something tells me their lust will remain a charade forever.

Some people think that just mentioning "god" validates his existence; some of these same people also insist that the name has to be capitalized to give their fantasy being respect.

It's always a good idea to annoy such people by disrespecting their stupid rules.

Arrow Desire to eating

... I know when I have the desire to eat. And then get done having something to eat. I find that fullfilling...

Um, okaaay.... God.

Yup. I'm right. It's just not as funny.

It's true that I feel compelled to be as witty as I possibly can. That compulsion includes devising colorful metaphors and imagery that strikes me as amusing. For instance, in informal company I always refer to the consultants at my firm as "shaved apes." I am perfectly capable of calling them consultants. I just think shaved apes is far wittier so I use it as often as possible.

In more formal company, however, I call them consultants. When I post in the upper fora, I use "God" not gog, because my cheap amusements are not appropriate during serious discussions.

I think God is fiction.

Not quite no. If you want to talk about nicknames for God, I'd be glad to split this one off too. Maybe with a nice blasphemy angle?

We have to separate fiction from non-fiction.

Sulpher doesn't really believe I am hosting a Nymph and Satyr Orgy this evening. And likewise, I don't believe he is preparing his whips and chains for the event. This is fiction.

None of this will lead to "unnecessary hearthache".

Unless, of course, he forgets the whips and chains.

i know, hence the "assuming theres truth", it implied i knew you were joking but was just a good excuse to hammer the point home a little more just in case.
