Default Debate

note: Allright I know this place is like heaven for we debaters and free thinkers, but if you could find it somewhere deep in your heart to at least visit my site I'd be thankful. Read the rest of the post, I assure you this isn't just pointless spam.

A message from the Lyceum Admin:

Knowing that there are few places on the internet where the free exchange of ideas is appreciated I've taken it upon myself to create a haven for debaters and acedameians here:

Perhaps soliciting. Perhaps you should check the site before you write it off though.

Ahhhh... there's an ad at the bottom of the page scaring me

If you're going to make unbiased debate forums, you should have "clubhouse" forums for Christians and atheists. That's an innovative idea. Otherwise, it's just another debate forum taking up space.

Sorry about the ads, it's a free webservice. I'll probably pay to get ads removed as soon as I get some cashflow. Now, what's this about a Clubhouse? And why seperate Christians and Atheists? I was hoping for a bit of a mingled community with an unhindered flow of ideas or segregation. Montefarle:

I edited your opening post to delete the link to your site. However, I am not entirely sure whether that link constitutes a 'solicitation'. I have posed the question in the Moderator's Conference Room and when I get a reply, I'll post the answer here.

Thanks Linda! I'd like to apologize in advance if I've broken any rules, that wasn't my intention (that's why I posted in the elsewhere thread) I figured that since I wasn't selling anything or requesting donations that it wouldn't be a problem, but if it is I completely understand. I'm just trying to invite the best and brightest to join my community...and since here is where a great many of you hang out it seemed natural that I should post here.

I think he might also want to post that page as his homepage on his profile. That would make life easy, too.
